Free plan and entry cost
Sudowrite has no permanent free plan. Its pricing page offers a free trial without a credit card. Official docs separately promise cancellation and a refund within the first 7 days, but do not describe the trial itself as seven days long.
How to read the total cost
- Credit expirationHobby & Student and Professional subscription credits expire at the monthly refresh. Max credits roll over for up to 12 months while the Max subscription remains active. Separately purchased credits never expire.
- Variable feature costOfficial docs say credit use varies by task complexity, model, Prose Mode, and input context; there is no fixed chapter cost. Quick Edit and default Chat are included without using credits.
- Annual billingThe $10/$22/$44 figures are monthly equivalents paid annually. Sudowrite does not display annual charged totals on the pricing or plan-documentation pages.
